Formed in 1998 by Jeff and guitarist Peter Northcote primarily to have a good time playing tunes they grew up listening to Punk/Glam Rock.The Sex Gods are influenced by Hendrix and Bowie. The four piece (which is made up of studio musicians with a penchant for wearing make-up, dressing in leather and plastic and rocking out) released a self titled album of original tunes which was critically acclaimed by Sydney rock journos in 1999. They have expanded the original concept, performing successful 'BOWIE' shows all around Sydney including the Basement and Metro.
