Probably the funkiest horn band in town, The Prophets boast some of the hottest musicians in Sydney including: Bill Risby, keyboards; Kere Buchanan, drums; Chris Soulos, bass; Paul Berton, guitar. The Prophets' horn section comprising two trumpets, two saxs and a trombone is the section that separates this band from every other funk band... powerful soloists and strong ensemble arrangements. The Prophets play a wide variety of material including songs by Prince, Tom Jones, Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Sly and the Family Stone along with some very funky originals.
